WWOOFing (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms)
We accept 2-4 WWOOFers at the farm throughout the season. You will be involved in learning whatever we are doing when you come. So you will be probably working in the fields, but you also might be going to farmers’ markets or helping us with the high school interns, therapeutic participants or a visiting camp group.
It’s fun to stay at the farm, since we have a community of folks coming to help us with our projects; visit the mandala, herb spiral, and tea gardens; or attend one our events. But it’s also fun because you can kayak or canoe on the Saco River or take a day-long hike in the near-by White Mountains.
We provide meals and a tent site by the Saco River or when available sleeping space in the farmhouse. Contact us today to sign up, greengrower@ripplingwaters.org.
